It's the beginning of the new year, and the narrator tells us that it's a good time to be a "couple" . He tells us to look around and see what's going on around us. He warns us that if we're not careful, we'll get slapped by "tsukkomi" , which is a Japanese term for "new year's booke." The narrator goes on to tell us that "there are many kinds of new years whoa" : people who just want to "spread out the damage" ; people who are "pinboke," meaning "out of focus," ; and people who "just want to hit 'em with a whack." He also tells us about the prime minister of Japan, who rides a "segregationway," which means "peace boke."
