Beiming and Mingke have been quiet since dinner. Mingke asks why Mingke was so angry at the girl. He tells Mingke that he is sorry for his rude words. He has finished the layout plan and wants to give it to Mingke as soon as he is done with it. He asks Mingke if he is hiding something from him, and he tells him that he used to share the plan with Mingke, but now he cannot say a word. He says that he asked Mingke to create trouble so that Mingke and Jinxuan would not be able to join forces with each other. He explains that he was going to do it the day before, but before he could, something happened, and they had to send someone to take the surveillance off of the house.
