Mr. Mingke arrives at the party, and Mr. Lie tries to persuade him to stay. Mr. Lingke, however, refuses, saying that he is tired and cannot wait to go on vacation with his family. He says that they can talk about the script again after he is rested, and that they should not leave the party in such a hurried fashion. He tells them that he can help them persuade Mr. Nangong to cast in their film, but that there are other conditions that need to be met.
