In this chapter, Mingke asks if he wants to kill him. He tells her that he will not be able to do anything to her now that she has been knocked out of the intermediary contest. He asks her what she wants and she tells him that she is coming to him because she wants to get some more lines with him. She asks him what he should do since he does not want his child and him. Mingke says that he understands and that he is going to come up with a solution for her. She tells him to go to the school in the afternoon and help her because they are going to bully her and she is afraid that she will have to lie to her family about what is happening. She says that if something happens to her, she will go to her father and grandmother and tell them what has happened. She then tells Mingke that her sister has come with the money and that she wants Mingke to let her go because she knows that Mingke's grandmother and father will be upset if something goes wrong with her sister. She also tells him not to drink the wine at the school because she is here to pay a loan and not to have a drink with Mingke. She warns him that if he does anything wrong, he will call the police and she will accompany him to the police station
