In this chapter, we learn that Longshan has sent a servant to bring Celia's things to her, and Celia thanks Longshan for bringing her back. Longshan asks Celia if she knows her niece, longshan's daughter, and her niece's mother. Celia replies that she doesn't know, but she does know that she came to the country with Longshan to be with her. She tells Longshan that when she first met Celia, she tried to find her, but could not find her. When she met her, she fell down a flight of stairs on purpose, and Longshan believes her.
