Mr. Beiming and his friend, the Governess, have just returned from an oriental trip. The Governess asks Mr. Biron if he has forgotten what happened when she tried to seduce him the last time he was in love with her. He tells her that she is a hot woman and that he will do anything for her happiness. He then asks her if she just promised him anything. She tells him that she did not promise him anything, but that he is so cunning that she does not know why she likes him so much now. She then asks him if he ever held her hand, kissed her, or touched her lips, and he tells her to calm down. He goes on to say that he does not think that the men behind the attack will do the same rash thing again, as they started doubting him because of one email. He promises to always be there to her and to take care of her.
