In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as "Ciggy." He is a young man who has just returned from a trip to the Empire Garden. Ciggy tells him that he will get rid of his family if he continues to be with him. He tells Ciggy not to worry about what will happen to him if he does not return to the Garden. He says that he is naive to think that he was lucky enough to have friends in such a high social circle. He also says that Ciggy must be mad at him because she did not even look at him when he was on the phone with her. He asks Ciggy if there is anything true in the world, and Ciggy replies that there is no truth in it. He then says that Mingke came straight to him after he came back from training on the Island. If Mingke gets angry again, he will have to submit a photo of himself to the Qianqian, which will make it easier for him to get away. If anything of what he has just read is out, he can call the cops on him and have him locked up. He wants to ask him to comb his hair for him, but he tells him to rub his hair and he will be nice to him. Mingke asks him who he wants to be his lover.
