In this chapter, Mingke tries to win the heart of Beiming. She tells him that she will never lose, and that she has won her sister back. Mingke tells her that the crew is holding a wrap party at the city's main square, and they need her to pick up a fake dress so that no one will see them. Mingeke asks if they have brought their passports with them, and Mingke says that they have, and he tells her not to think that they can do whatever they want just because they are Mingke's friends. He tells Mingke that he will not let them get away with what they have done, and reminds her that they will be punished for all of their dirty deeds one day. He then tells her to go to the party and meet everyone there, and to stop wearing the fake dress. He says that the large-scale costume film world-wrap party will be starting soon, and the representative of the empire group will be there. He asks Mingke if she wants to see the group perform together, and she says that she does.
