The scene opens with Mingke begging his wife to let him have his way with her. Mingke tells her that he's hungry and wants to eat with her, but she doesn't seem to be having any of it. She tells him to wait outside and wait for someone to come and eat with them. He tells her to get dressed and wash the dishes because someone is coming, but Mingke says he'll wait outside until someone comes and eats with them, and then he and Mingke will eat together. He asks her if she's trying to destroy evidence, and she tells him that she is trying to stop Mingke from bullying her. He says that Mingke secretly frames him, and that someone is always trying to stir trouble between Mingke and him.
