Back in the car, Desdemona is worried that the driver is going to hit the car again, but he's confident that he'll get away with it. He's also worried that he might be hit by a truck, but Desdemonas doesn't think that's going to happen. He decides to go to the doctor and check on his arm. He tells the doctor that he just got bumped on the head by another car, and that he thinks he might have a minor injury. He says that he went to the side of the other car and bumped his head, but that his arm isn't hurt. The doctor comes to check on him, and he says that the car is fine. He also tells Desdemonais that he should stop nagging at her, because she's trying to kill him. He asks her if she'd like to stay and look after him, but she refuses, saying that she wants to go back to her husband, who'll be her husband one day
