In this short scene, zijin tells coco that he has fallen in love with him again. He tells her that he does not need her protection, and that he is happy to be with him. He asks her if she would like to go to the Empire Garden with him, and she says that she would. She tells him that she has told him that if he wants to get away, she will take him to see him the next day, and he will pay her the money. She asks him if he is afraid that his brother will stay away with a woman he is involved with. He says that he fears that, as soon as he leaves the island, he will be able to stay with someone else. He adds that the beach where his father was shot is where the gangsters knew that they should not stay there, as it is the place where the first godfathers of dongling have been killed.
