The next morning, Mingke complains that he is tired and wishes he could take a month's vacation. He tells Mingke that he has been sleeping for three hours and that he needs to prepare dinner. Mingke tells him not to take it personally, but Mingke reminds him of his duty to Mingke. He says that Mingke has stolen all of his food, and Mingke apologizes for forgetting to call on xiangxiang. He promises to take Mingke to dinner to make amends.
