The young men then discuss the bag that they plan to use to carry the coat with them to the opera. The narrator explains that he is in the fifth year of his studies in Paris and has decided to move to the medieval town of Le Marais, where he will attend a graduate school. He wants to see the young people in the backstage because there are not enough black parts in the show.
