In this chapter, Mina explains to Harada that she has been assigned to make clothes for Sara. Although she does not want to discuss the assignment with Harada, she does want to know how much it will cost to make the clothes. Harada tells her that it will be about 5,000 yen, which is too much for her. He also tells Mina that he has not heard from Harada since his haircut. Mina then tells Harada about the fabric scraps that she is getting rid of at the shop. She also tells him that the shop has a partner that will ship the fabric to her for a very low price. She asks Harada if he will be able to sell her the fabric for a price that is too low for her, and Harada replies that he cannot, as he is already working in the professional world.
