This chapter opens with a conversation between a young woman and a young man. The young woman tells the young man that she is pregnant, and the man tells her that he is not sure whether or not she will be able to get the child to come to the hospital. She tells him that she will have to wait until after the baby is born, but that she does not want to delay her delivery because she wants to give her child the best care possible
