In this chapter, we meet the protagonist, who has just returned from covering the Geika festival in Paris. He's bummed that he's not as pretty as the protagonist's sister, but he doesn't want to go back to his job as a model. He wants to be like his sister, and he wants to do something with his life. The protagonist tells us that he has been studying abroad for a year, and that the lessons in Paris focused on creative thinking and ideas. He also says that he enjoyed the way the patternmakers at the festival taught him how to make things. He says he'd like to do the same at the brand ayano, where he'll be working as a brand manager. He thinks that his sister will do well in her second year as a patternmaker, too. He hopes that she'll grow as a person as well. He tells her that he needs to talk to her about his new job. She's so nice to him, and she's always willing to help him make changes to his collection. He asks her to make him the most beautiful clothes possible. She tells him that he should just keep wearing his clothes and not worry about what people think of him. She says that if he wanted to be her prince, he would have to make her the best clothes possible, which is what she does. She asks him what he thought about working as an employee for the brand. He said that he didn't think it would be a good idea, because it would look boring if he used Mii's bags for every outfit. But if he could use their products and turn them into new trends, he could be a genius.
