In this chapter, we're introduced to a number of characters who are trying to figure out how to make a bag. We're also introduced to some of the people who are supposed to be making the bags, and we get a brief description of each of them. We learn that the bag-making company is new, and that the quality of the finished product isn't as good as it used to be. We also learn that Chiyoda has fallen off the runway at Tokyo Fashion Week, and is back on the street.
