The scene opens with Hiroshi talking to Miwako about his job as a model manager. He tells her that he's been in the business for a long time, but that his current model, Chi-chan, is not doing so well. Mizumi asks him why he hasn't come to see her more, and he says that he doesn't want to be rude to her. He also tells her about the girl he showed earlier, who he says is very gifted, but she's too small to be a model. He says that she has an intense aura around her, which makes him feel like someone is pointing a knife at his throat and telling him not to move. He then tells Mizumi about the brand that has recently been bought out by Lare Faun, and Mizumi wonders if it's because the brand was bought out because of financial troubles, or because the model is too small for the job. She then asks him if he can really do it with his "pitiable height" . He replies that he plans to do it, but he'll have to wait until the time comes when he can't do it anymore. He asks Mizumi what she wants to talk about, and she says that the girl she showed earlier wants to quit her modeling job.
