In this chapter, we learn that a young woman named em>Sanko/em> is working as a model for a href="http://www.amazon.co.jp/Women-In-Fashion/dp/B006A0Y1Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1540521&sr=8-1&keywords=women-in-fashion" target="_blank" /a>Yagnada , a student at the University of Michigan, is trying to find a seamstress to make a silk shirt for her. The shirt is made from cotton, which is processed to make silk, a high-class fabric. Because the fabric is so soft and delicate, it makes the shirt difficult to wear. The seamstress says that she has to use another fabric factory to make the shirt, but that she will use a fabric called georgette, which she says is similar to chiffon, but she can't understand how to use it.
