In this chapter, we learn that the tailbone of the walker is connected to the skull of the corpse of Enobart, and that this skull is the source of the "boom" of the Phaedra's machine guns. We also learn that, as a result of the battle, the walker's crew has been sent back to the front line, where they will continue to search for the tiles. We learn that they have been to battle many times before, for the good of the marleyans. They will not give up either, and they will keep fighting until they capture the walker.
