In this short scene, we learn that Hirokazu and the others have been wiped out, except for one man, who has managed to escape capture. As the scene opens, the two men are in the middle of discussing the situation when they hear the sound of a gun going off in the distance. The two men rush to the scene, and Hiroki tells the others to hurry up and help him. He tells them that he is the boss of the shopping district, and he wants them to help him prepare the money so that he can feed the people of the town. He asks the men to push the gun through anyone who does not want to die. The men reply that it is their duty to do so, since they are freeloaders, and they should not be full of themselves just because they think it is natural for them to die for the sake of others. Hiroki says that he will go back to his employer and thank him for saving the lives of so many people.
