In this short scene, we learn that the King of the Wall is in the process of ordering the destruction of Eldia, and that he has sent a message to the people of the island by imprisoning Elmire's hero. Elmire tells us that she has been writing a love letter to the King, and he is catching glimpses of her as she writes it. The King has also been talking to the General, who has asked him what message he is sending by putting Elmire in jail. The General tells Elmire that the Queen has come to visit the island, and Elmire says that she hopes that he will be able to catch a glimpse of her. She also says that Elmire has been wearing more and more clothes, and as a result, he has become happier. The only thing Elmire regrets is that some people in the world have thrown rocks at her for nothing but the fact that she is there. She says that there are people in Elmire who have thrown stones at her because she is already there, and she will never get rid of them. She adds that the only reason the King has allowed the people to remain inside the island is because each eldian is a "pure titan" , and they can add as many as they like. If the King were to acquire the founding Titan, they would need to destroy all of the "pure titans" in order to develop the island. She explains that she made a vow to the founding titan that Eldia would be destroyed, but the King actually agrees with the King that the island should be destroyed.
