Captain Strong and the rest of the soldiers discuss the damage done to the wall by the Volscians. Captain Strong wonders why they're taking a priest with them, especially since the priest is supposed to be repairing the wall. He also wonders if they'll be able to repair the wall in time to save Maria, since it'll take so long to do so. He's not sure if they can do it, but he's hopeful that the priest can repair it in time for Maria to do the same thing
