In this chapter, we learn that the Titan's son, sannes, is planning a revolt against the royal family. He tells the audience that his father was a teacher and that he learned about how humans came to be trapped inside of the walls of the Great Wall of China during his childhood. He believes that the royal government is using the screams of the people to gain legitimacy, and that there are too many humans in the system to hold back a revolution. He asks the audience if they know who the real leaders of the revolution are, and they tell him that they do.
