The Duke tells his son that the Spanish army has defeated the Portuguese army, and that the king is preparing for war with Spain. King Henry asks his son if he would like to go to war with Portugal, and the Duke says he would, but that he would prefer to wait until the end of the war to go. He tells King Henry that if he wants to go, he should go to battle with Spain, not with Portugal.
