In this short scene, Lenz and the others discuss the recent events in Wall-Sheena. Lenz tells the others that he wants to test out the powers of eren before they are too successful. He wants to make sure that the people in the city are safe. He also wants to see if eren will be able to turn the situation around quickly. He asks Lenz why he is holding on to the news that Ter-Nickis is dead. He says that they don't yet know if the crime was a robbery or a murder. He tells Lenz that they've seen many cases like this in the past, and that it's strange that a robber would bother to break in to a military barracks. He adds that the soldiers in the barracks are busy right now, unlike him. He then tells Lez that the robber must have had something to do with a church of the wall. He goes on to say that the skin on the robber's fist had been ripped off. He explains that they are watching the people who are trampling through the town's boundaries, and Lenz wants to know if they will give up on eren soon. When Lenz asks if he saw the robber, he says that he only saw him briefly, but that all the ones he could see were ripped from his body. He decides to kill the beast. He was born on the small farm of the noble Reiss family, and his mother threw him away when he was a baby. She never did anything for him, but she was the first person she'd ever done anything for. She says that she's going to stay with Lenz from now on.
