In the midst of the battle, Leviathan wonders where the military police have gone to help the wounded. He wonders if they've really lost more than half of their numbers. He also wonders if he's been preaching to the choir all along, and wonders if that's why he hasn't been able to control the army. He's done being "Krista" , he says, and now he has to "control the titans" . He doesn't know how he'll do it, but he knows that if he controls the army, the wall will still be intact. He thanks the captain for letting him in, and thanks the town for allowing him to explain the situation. He shows the captain a picture of his parents, which he says is proof that the "tombs" are actually humans. The captain says that he has a hunch that the weak spots in the body of a human are actually the same as those of a giant. He says that if two giant beings are the same size, then the weak spot in one of the giant's body is the same in the other's. He adds that he knows this because he has been "flying around killing humans" this whole time. He asks if it's true that the army is far away from civilization, and the captain replies that they can just hunt and kill as many humans as they want. He then asks if the captain will be satisfied if the soldiers act like that. The Captain says that they'll be back soon, but that they have to finish cleaning up before he can return.
