In this chapter, we learn that the younger brother of the first king, who created the walled city, agreed to a mission of his own in exchange for his younger brother's promise that he would pray when he saw the younger king's eyes when he inherited the powers of the titans. The younger brother, however, did not offer his own mission, but instead offered to pray when his brother saw his eyes after he inherited them. In exchange, the elder brother promised that the young king would offer his prayers to the goddess of the underworld. The young king says that his mission is to bring god back into the world and offer prayers to her. He says that he will be controlled by his father's ideology, just like his sister and the other heirs to the throne before her. In response to this statement, he says, "I have no right" , and that he must "let god dwell within" him. He adds, "wants me to be / na fort / god" . This is the way his father wanted him to be, and this is why he wants to be a god. He asks his father to hurry up and "eat" him, because he is part of the "chosen blood line" of humans. He calls her the "worst most despicable girl" in history, and says that she is letting humanity be destroyed by the "tortures" of the gods. She says that this is not the first time that humanity has been destroyed.
