In this short scene, Levi tries to find out what has happened to his family. He learns that his half-sister, Frieda, has been taken prisoner by grisha, and that her brother, dirk, and her son, abel, have been raped and murdered. He also learns that Levi and his father have been slandering their comrades and that their fates are in the hands of zackly. He tells his father that he has prepared himself for war because he believed it was best for humanity if the crown were to be restored. He reminds his father of a song that was sung about how one day man would give up war and that the revolution would come to an end. The song ends with the line, "We have an invincible kenny.
