About This Chapter
Captain Levi and his men fuel the ship to Fort Salta, but they don't yet know where they'll find eren. They're worried that he'll try to stop them from killing the Eldars, but he won't listen to them. He's also worried that eren's testing them to see if they're willing to kill anyone. He doesn't want to keep killing people for the sake of killing them, he says. The island is fine, and no one will kill anyone else for centuries. He hates himself for killing sasha, and he knows that everyone is guilty of the same sin. He says he's going to eat fish for a while to atone. He wants to know if he'd be able to stop killing people if he didn't get involved with eren and watch everyone die on paradis. He can't, because his regrets will always be with him. He wonders if eren is showing some of his "character istics" of the beast. He also wonders if there are air ships in the fort, and wonders if the eldars could possibly survive this war. He remembers that his daughter sacrificed everything for her, and that he, too, sacrificed everything so that she could get what she wanted.
