About This Chapter
The two men discuss the hole they've made in the wall, and they wonder if it's a good idea to make a hole in it. They're worried about what's going to happen if it doesn't work out, but they're also worried about how they'll get rid of the guy who's been transformed into a giant. They wonder if he'll be able to eat the hole, but he's already eaten his way out of it, so they can't be too worried about that. The men wonder if they should just let him live, or if he should just give up and let someone else take care of him. They both feel bad for the guy, because he'd been tricked into thinking he was a giant, and now they feel bad about letting him live. They also feel bad that they didn't kill him first, because now they have to give the armor to someone else. They don't want to be the ones who kill him, because that would be a waste of their time, and since they killed him, they have no choice but to kill him again.
