About This Chapter
The next morning, the three of them discuss how they're going to get through the next day's battle. The three decide that the best thing to do is to "slaughter the titans anyway" , which means that they'll have to eat a lot of food to make up for the losses they've just suffered. They're also going to have to use their brains to figure out how to do it, since they don't really know what to do with themselves now that the wall's down. They also decide that it's a good idea to get some water for them, since the river isn't as deep as it used to be, and they can draw it from a nearby stream. They all agree that the only way to keep your sanity is to stay away from public places like that, since it'll make you look like a total wimp. They both agree that it would be a lot easier to be a "survey corps" soldier, which is basically just a bunch of guys who've been trained to do battle by the military. They agree that they need to get the vertical gear down so they can "trade belts" with each other, which will make them a lot more effective.
