The group is on its way back to the academy in Japan, and Ani asks one of the students if he likes to do anything big or quiet. The student says he doesn't like to do that, but Ani asks him if it's a hobby of his father's, and he says it is. Ani says she's sorry she couldn't be more helpful to the group, and they're heading back to Japan. Ani asks the student if he wants to go on a date with a girl, and the student says no, he's not going out with her. Ani tells the student that she is only ten years old, and that today was like a demon, and she had to take his hand without thinking. Ani also tells Ani that ten years ago, her mother died, and a mission from the men's government came to the same time Ani's father died. Ani thinks Ani might have a connection to her mother's death, but she can't say for sure. Ani worries that the next time Ani asks her for a date, she'll make fun of her for being such a good person. Ani is shocked that Ani would insult all the girls she loves, especially when she already has so many people to deal with
