The next morning, the narrator and the other students discuss the strange behavior of chachamaru, who has returned late from the festival. They wonder if she is really a robot, or if she really is in love. The narrator tells the students that he has found nothing wrong with cha chamaru, and that he will see her at the festival that evening. He tells them that he thinks she looks lovely, and wonders why she looks so powerful. The students agree that she looks powerful, and the narrator says that she must be in love, because she looks like a "wizard breathed sou / into her" . He says that if his artificial intelligence fell in love that would be an "obely prize awaiting to be awarded" , and they begin to replay some of the videos. They realize that the numbers are going up, and begin to worry that something is wrong. They decide that they will try to find out what is going on, and when they find out that it is not a robot but a mad scientist, they decide to press on her right breast.
