This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which Chaos and the other magi attack each other. The flashback shows that the magi have been trained by Chaos to be tough enemies, and that she has been using her magic to generate force that is too much for her own body. The magi are shocked by the amount of force that she is using, and they decide that it is time to stop talking about her. They decide that they will have to use brute force to defeat her, and the flashback ends with a soliloquy by Chaos in which he reveals that he is the son of a thousand masters.
