This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which Tosaka and the others are talking about the battle they just fought. The flashback shows that the battle was very close, and that the four warriors had to make a pact with each other to stay alive. The two men are worried about each other's safety, and they decide to keep an eye out for each other as they leave the island.
