The magi are worried about the knight's health. The knight says he's happy, but his sword isn't sharp enough to protect the woman. He's worried that she's going to get jealous when she sees him happy. He tells the magi that he'll never beat her, even if she were happy. She's become an ordinary person, he says, and his sword has dulled. He reminds her that she can't protect her sword if she doesn't notice how happy he is. He wants her to be by his side, as a knight, when he needs her.
