The chapter opens with a soliloquy about the fight between Rakan and Ako. Rakan compares Ako to a corpse. He tells Ako that he's sorry that he couldn't beat him. He says that Ako is a "human nuclear warhead" who's "going to defile me" . Ako says that he didn't acknowledge Rakan's victory because he was a member of the "Ala rubra" , which means "Adult." Rakan says that if Ako had acknowledged his victory, he'd have "nothing left to teach" him . The chapter ends with Rakan saying that he doesn't care what Ako does to get stronger. He'll just leave that to his real self.
