The novel opens with a soliloquy by Tommo, in which he says that he has never had such fun in his life. He says that the manga festival in Tokyo is a big hit, and he thanks the brat who made him the costume for it. He also says that there are a lot of parodies of the biblion manga series on the festival grounds, and that the drawings are "better than the actual ones dont look at" . Tommo then goes on to say that he is going to pour a "medicine in the pool" that will shrink women's breasts, but he says he will have to do it "the reverse then reverse you, too ." He says he has no interest in traveling to "the country of dreams" unless the girl he is with recognizes it.
