The second day of the festival is over, and Chaos is worried that the magic of the first day has run out. He asks the teacher how his broken arm is doing, and the teacher tells him that his arm is still healing. He tells him to pretend that he hasn't been fighting with him for a long time, and says that they haven't even sparred in a long while. He then asks about Asuna's disappearance. The teacher says that she tried so hard, but she didn't make it. He says that love is a two-way street, and that there's no way to win her back. He also says that he's coming, too, and he doesn't think he should go. He wants to know what happened to Chaos, and how he'd been able to get around without him. He's been under the care of the teacher for the last ten years, and has seen lots of things, he says, but he can't figure out where he is. He apologizes for not being dressed like he was supposed to be, and tells the teacher to tell them that they had fun. He adds that the teachers don't have to worry about him at the festival, because they'll be able to do whatever they want with the rest of the day. He hopes that they won't break Asuna, because she's changed so much in the past ten years.
