The next morning, the girls are still waiting for their teacher to return. The teacher, however, is on his way to the girls' dormitory, where he has arranged for another teacher to join them. When the girls ask him why he is late, the teacher tells them that the other teacher has stayed late for three days in order to attend to his business.
