About This Chapter
The next morning, Negri continues his preparations for the tournament. He tells us that the tournament is going to be a long one, and that he's going to have to stay up all night to prepare for the next day's matches. He's also worried that some of the other players will be using the tournament as a way to rest. Negri says that he can't wait to get to the tournament, because he'll have to face the two guys who have the most magical abilities. He says that they're the same thing: they can use magic to control the natural energy in the air, but they can also use it to control physical energy, like fire or wind. The only difference between them is that the former uses magical energy, while the latter uses physical energy. So, if you're a fighter, you can use your magic to hit your opponent, but if you want to use your own magic, you've got to use physical energy to do it. So what's your biggest problem? What's the guy like? What kind of opponent are you going to face in the first round? What are the old guys like? And what are they going to do to make you a better fighter? What about the wind arrows? They're not going to hurt you, but might hurt someone else? What can you do? You can use axuvrma, which is a kind of magical activation item, to use instead of magic. It's a great gift from the master to the student.
