In this short scene, Lise explains to Iris the changes that have occurred in the world since the appearance of the strange pillars. She tells her that the powers of the second and third-generation pyrokinetics, which she and Lise were the only survivors of the church fire when they were children, have gotten stronger. She says that she has been feeling nervous lately and has gone to see the other shinras. The other shinra, she says, gives the impression that she is the mother of the devil.
