He's here to find out what's wrong with the machine that Arthur is using to destroy the world, and he's also looking for a way to kill Arthur. The two of them have been collecting all of the latest and greatest technology from all over the world to make a machine that can destroy the entire universe. The man who's looking for the cure says that he came to find it, too, because he heard a prophecy that the machine would destroy Arthur, and that he'd be the one to do it. The woman in the hat says that she's been looking for this machine for a long time, and she knows that her husband's faults are real, but she still loves him. She also says that the man in her hat is looking for an answer to a prophecy he heard many years ago, when his restaurant went out of business, and everything he owned went up in smoke. He says that's why he was looking inside his hat, because it's too perfect a coincidence for him to be looking at the same thing.
