Back in the present, Arthur tells the gang that he's not the same person he was at the beginning of the chapter. He's back, he says, but not as crazy as he was before the battle. Arthur says that he doesn't know why he looks the way he does, but he knows that when he looks back on his life in the future, he'll think that he was an idiot. Arthur asks for some time to think things over. He says that after the battle, he was like a "rebel phase" and a "really bad one" . He wants a friend to tell him all about it so he won't have to think about it. Arthur thinks that tattoos and piercing ears could just be signs that he has changed.
