Back at the sol temple, Tamura tries to get Tamura to admit that he's been wrong all along. He's wrong, he says, because Tamura has been wrong about so many things. Tamura points out that Tamura is the brother of Kusa Kamba, a soldier who was killed by the Imperial Army during the Battle of the Temple of the Seven Gables. Kamba's brother is the head of the temple, which means that Kamba is the one who's leading the crusade against the Imperials. Kumbaya chimes in that the temple is not a place to start a war, but rather a place for people to try their hand at religion. The priests shouldn't try to get into a fight with the emperor's army, because they're not going to fight for the sake of religion. They're just trying to do good for the world. Kataharu chimes in, too, and says that the priests are trying to get in the way of God's work. He also points out the hypocrisy of the priests, who claim to believe in God, yet they've killed a man who was a good example of how God works. He says the priests' goal isn't to destroy the world, but to make it a better place for God to live in.
