Captain Nemo asks if he can go with the other companies to help them clean up the town. He says he can't because he's busy with his own business. The other companies are busy fixing up the place. Captain Nemo says he'll stay with them until they're done. He's not worried about the town being cleaned up, though, because he has the power to do it himself. He also says he doesn't care if the town is cleaned up in a day or a week, since he can do it all himself. Nemo thanks the kids for their hard work, and says he should have been the captain of the other company. The kids say they don't want to be cleaned up by the other guys, and Nemo says they'll be "squished" by them. He tells the kids to stop treating them like kids, and then he shows them his spinning fire top. They're not going to be treated like kids anymore, and he says he won't show them his "spinning fire top" until they stop treating him like a kid. He asks the kids if they would like to help with the investigation of the town, and they say they would if they were the captain. They say they wouldn't, because they'd rather be around other guys who are more like them, like company 7. They also say that they would be more like company 8 if they weren't like them. The kid says he wants to talk to the captain, and the captain wants him to come get him. Nemo says the captain wanted him to go get him, because the captain is talking to his lieutenant about how they turned the town into an "infernal" place.
