In this short scene, Tommo and Enobarashi discuss the situation in which they find themselves. Tommo is suffering from a severe case of pneumonia, and he is unable to move or stand. He is grateful for his friend's help in the fight against the "Knights of the Purple Haze" , but he does not want to be left behind. He feels that he has already lost his brother, and that he will not be able to defeat them. He also feels that his sister has been used as a "meat shield" by the evangelists, who have come to the battlefield to fight the "dangerous nutjobs" . He does not believe that they have been able to stop them, as they have already lost their leader. He wonders why they have not killed the "knights" and why they are still coming. He tells them that he is an "iron man" who will "immortally destroy" them all. He asks them if they are plotting to kill him again, and they reply that they are only trying to "bait" him. They also tell him that the "lab detective" has found out that he killed many people, and so he will be joining his brother in the battle.
