The lieutenant tells the captain that the workshop was "half destroyed" and that it was the men in white who attacked it. The lieutenant asks the captain if he'd like to meet up with them later. The captain says he's sorry he didn't listen to the lieutenant's advice, but he doesn't want to apologize for being stubborn. He tells the lieutenant to remember that he saved everyone by coming to the rescue, and that he'll keep the promise he made to the special fire cathedral. He says he hopes the rookies don't offend him in any way, and he thanks the lieutenant for making dinner for him. He asks the lieutenant why he brought the lieutenant, and the lieutenant says that he forgot something he really needed to settle. He also says that maybe the family cursed the fire force for building a machine shop, and so he wants to do something about it.
