In this short scene, the hero laments that he has lost a "benefit" to his clan by fighting with Fang. He feels that Fang is much stronger than he is, and that it is not easy to kill him. He begs Fang to join his sect, and promises that if Fang does not join, he will kill him with a single strike. He promises that he will cut Fang into pieces if he should try to harm him. Fang is so hot that he nearly kills a core formation-cul-tivator, but the hero holds on to his cool. He says that he needs to persuade Fang not to challenge him, since no one wants to do so. He plans to ask one of his followers to be his "referral" when the channel opens to the immortal world.
